| Gold and Soorma: Two films based on Indian hockey |
Even though we have not been able to promote our national sports hockey so much in the country, but our film industry gave lots of honor to this game. Films made on hockey are all motivating. These movies are not only good for the players but also so inspirational for the general public. This year Bollywood all set to give us two hockey movies. One is Soorma another one is Gold.
Recently Akshay Kumar's Gold movie trailer has been released. As soon as the curtain took off from the trailer, the glimpse and dialogue of the characters of this film came out. The beauty of the movie is as beautiful as the glimpse of the film; the same is the tremendous dialogue of this movie. In this film, Akshay Kumar will play the role of Hockey coach Tapan Das. This patriotic film will be released in theaters on this year independent day. Directed by Reema Kagti, this film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. TV actress Mouni Roy will be seen in the role of Akshay Kumar's wife from this movie. This is the debut film of Mouni Roy.
By the way, another film based on hockey will be on screen before the Gold movie. This is the singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's Soorma movie trailer has just been released a few days ago. Which is a biopic of Legend player Sandeep Singh, Diljit will be seen as Sandeep in Soorma.
The trailer of Soorma also got the positive response. In this, Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi, Vijay Raj and Kulbhushan Kharbanda will be seen in key roles with Diljit Dosanjh. This movie is being released in theaters in the month of Akshay Kumar's film Gold one month earlier ie 13 July.
The audience liked the trailer of both the films based on hockey. The special thing is that both films are based on true stories.
